COOKIE AND TRACKING
TECHNOLOGY POLICY
Updated 26 July 2026
ARTICLE 1 – Subject
When visiting the Elite Protection Driver website, cookies or similar technologies may be stored on or read from the user’s device.
A cookie is a file or other tracker designed to enable certain website functionalities, memorise preferences, measure usage, or, where such features are active, facilitate the use of services provided by third parties.
This policy outlines the categories of trackers that may be utilised and the means by which the user can exercise their choices.
ARTICLE 2 – Who uses cookies?
The website is published by:
Elite Protection Driver
Société par actions simplifiée with a share capital of 1,800 euros
989 045 190 R.C.S. Paris
60 rue François 1er
75008 Paris – France
Elite Protection Driver is responsible for the processing operations that it determines as part of the website's operation, without prejudice to any separate liability that may rest with certain third-party providers.
ARTICLE 3 – Strictly necessary cookies
Certain cookies or trackers may be essential for the functioning of the site and for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user.
They may notably serve to ensure site security, maintain certain technical features, remember consent choices, or enable the processing of an order or payment.
When they are strictly necessary and meet the exemption conditions provided by regulations, their use does not require the prior consent of the user.
They must not be used for advertising purposes under the guise of being necessary.
ARTICLE 4 – Audience Measurement
The website may use Framer Analytics in order to measure page traffic and performance. Framer Analytics operates without cookies and does not require a specific consent banner.
ARTICLE 5 – Advertising and Marketing Cookies
If Elite Protection Driver subsequently utilises advertising tools, tracking pixels, retargeting technologies, or tools to measure the performance of advertising campaigns, these must be integrated into the consent management system when required by regulation.
These technologies must not be activated prior to consent being obtained when such consent is required.
A refusal must not prevent normal access to the site when the trackers concerned are not necessary for the provision of the service.
ARTICLE 6 – Third-party services and content
Certain features may rely on third-party services, such as an interactive map, an embedded video, a booking tool, a communication module, or other external content.
Where their operation involves placing trackers that require consent, these features must only be activated once the user has made the appropriate selection.
ARTICLE 7 – Payment
The website may utilise a specialised provider to secure and process payments.
Certain technical elements required for payment execution or fraud prevention may be essential to the delivery of the requested service.
The processing carried out by the payment provider is also subject to their own data protection obligations.
The name of the provider shall be added here once definitively identified.
ARTICLE 8 – Consent
Upon their initial visit, where trackers requiring consent are used, the user must be able to express their choice prior to their activation.
In particular, they must be able to:
accept all,
refuse all,
or customise their choices.
The absence of a choice or the mere continuation of browsing must not be construed as acceptance of trackers requiring consent.
ARTICLE 9 – Withdrawal or modification of consent
The user must be able to modify their choices and withdraw consent just as easily as they gave it.
Permanent access to the management tool must therefore be available on the site, notably via a link:
"Manage my cookies"
This link must remain accessible from the footer of the site.
ARTICLE 10 – Duration
Cookies and trackers must only be retained for a duration proportionate to their purpose and in compliance with the applicable requirements.
The user’s consent choices must also be retained for an appropriate period to avoid unnecessarily asking them to state their preferences on each visit.
The precise durations will be specified in the cookie manager according to the tools actually deployed on the site.
ARTICLE 11 – Cookie Management
Elite Protection Driver utilises only those cookies and technologies strictly necessary for the proper functioning and security of the site, and, where applicable, for the provision of services expressly requested by the user.
At this stage, the site does not utilise advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or tracking tools requiring prior consent.
ARTICLE 12 – Personal data
Where the use of a cookie or tracker entails the processing of personal data, this is likewise subject to the Elite Protection Driver Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy.
ARTICLE 13 – Amendment
This policy may be amended in the event of changes to the tools utilised by the site, its functionalities, or the applicable regulations.
The version published on the site is the version applicable at the time of consultation.
